They (the yahoo mail servers) don't really like mail that doesn't have the actual recipient in the TO or CC line. Since this list, and almost all other distributed e-mail from Wind-Up doesn't contain the recipient in either of those places (but instead the actual list name) Yahoo kinda goes a little ballistic for a few days trying to figure out what it's actually supposed to do with the e-mail... their servers don't understand about reading mail headers I guess. AOL used to have the same problem until Ed spent a couple months "discussing" with their techs about it via phone. Maybe someday Yahoo will come around the rest of the world's side of logic... but I won't be placing bets on when. Honestly, with all the new policies that Yahoo are placing into effect, if I were you I would just abandon that address and get an e-mail address somewhere else. Hotmail is still somewhat dependable (although starting to slip), and you can get free e-mail accounts at a whole multitude of places... many of which will offer the option of POP3 or webmail. IMO, that is your best option. Unless you don't mind getting your mail several days after the fact, that is. Hope this helps you. I could give you a list of several free-mail sites if you need one. Let me know. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Iwndr" To: Sent: Monday, April 15, 2002 10:52 AM Subject: Re: FW: creed e-news 4-09-02 : creed on vh1 and fox > I have this problem with ALL the Creed News.
